remember when dressing a certain way or having certain piercings or wearing your hair a certain way meant something about you as a person and reflected your interests and stuff. now it’s just dictates how trendy you are. like seriously, every bitch I know has their septum pierced and covers themselves with studs and spikes and listen to trap music and I’m sitting here like, what the fuck is going on? kids used to wear misfits shirts because they listened to the misfits, not because it’s a cool looking skull on an old shirt.
