I never understood what people meant by ‘make him work for it.’ you realize your talking about sex right? and you realize that making him ‘work for it’ just adds to the whole stigma of why girls are supposed to sleep with guys after they take us out on dates and buy us dinner or what have you. so, what are you really saying you when tell me that I’ll always end up alone because I sleep with the people I like after a night of hanging out. I won’t apologize for liking sex. I won’t apologize for hoping that the person I’m involved with was sincere with their words. is that our only option? to live in fear that everyone is trying to fuck us over, so we force a happy face and pretend to care and go on a few dates and have sex a few times, and it ends all the same. it may not be a pretty package, but it’s easier to tell someone you just want something physical, rather than lead people to believe you want something more, because if someone really likes you, they’d be stoked about fucking on the first date, they wouldn’t say ‘oh she’s so easy and now I don’t like her.’ I keep waiting for society to wake up, to realize that we don’t all have to be so sneaky to get the things want, especially when other people’s feelings are involved.
